SMS Consent Policy

Hello Sammy, a product of Burkeman Labs LLC, may send transactional SMS messages on behalf of participating businesses when customers interact with those businesses.
How customers consent
Customers may consent to transactional SMS messages by:
- Providing their phone number during a phone call for appointment scheduling, service updates, reminders, or customer-service follow-up.
- Clearly agreeing during a call when asked whether they would like a text confirmation or update.
- Starting an SMS conversation with a business using Hello Sammy.
Types of SMS messages
Messages may include:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Rescheduling or cancellation updates
- Service visit updates
- Customer-service replies
- Owner or staff follow-up related to the customer’s request
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on customer interactions, appointment activity, and service needs. For example, a customer may receive a confirmation after booking, a reminder before an appointment, and updates if the appointment changes.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer’s mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out and help
Customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, the customer may receive a final confirmation message that they have been unsubscribed.

No marketing SMS without proper consent
Hello Sammy’s standard SMS program is transactional only. This campaign is not used for marketing, advertising, promotions, lead generation, or mass messaging. We do not use customer SMS consent for third-party marketing, and we do not share SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
