These terms describe how Hello Sammy may be used and how transactional customer communications are handled.
Hello Sammy’s standard SMS program is transactional only. Customers may receive texts only for appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, cancellations, rescheduling information, or direct customer-service replies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Service provider
Hello Sammy is a product operated by Burkeman Labs LLC. Hello Sammy provides AI receptionist, scheduling, customer communication, and business operations support for participating small businesses.
Use of service
Hello Sammy may help businesses answer calls, collect customer-provided information, schedule appointments, update appointments, cancel appointments, relay customer-service requests, and send transactional communications when appropriate.
Hello Sammy may help create, update, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on business availability and customer-provided information. Appointment availability, service eligibility, pricing, and final work acceptance are controlled by the business providing the service.
SMS terms
After clearly agreeing during a live phone call, or by initiating an SMS conversation with the participating business, you may consent to receive transactional messages related to your interaction with the business. Providing a phone number alone is not treated as SMS consent. Messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, cancellations, rescheduling information, and customer-service replies.

No mobile information or SMS consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Acceptable use
Users may not misuse Hello Sammy, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, submit unlawful content, or use the service to harass, deceive, or harm others.
Service availability
We work to keep Hello Sammy reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Phone, SMS, calendar, hosting, AI model, and internet providers may experience outages or delays outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burkeman Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Hello Sammy. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this site with a revised effective date.
